Meet the Team
Ripp Rehab, Inc., established by Shirley Ripp, has been in business since 1997 in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
Ms. Ripp is a Certified Rehab Counselor (CRC) and a Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE) with a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation. Her primary focus has been performing vocational evaluations/career counseling throughout the Valley for the past 27 years.
Since Ripp Rehab, Inc. opened in 1997, we have added more staff. Our current staff all have some type of master’s degree and the company has received more than 9,000 referrals; likely conducting at least 8,000 assessments/counseling sessions. In addition, we have performed work for the State of Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration, the State Compensation Fund, the Veterans Administration, and Social Security’s Disability Determination Services Administration as well as the Office of Hearings Operations. We also work with youth transitioning from high school to work or college as well as youth transitioning from correctional facilities and halfway houses back into society.
Heather Currie, MC has been part of Ripp Rehab, Inc. since 2005. she has a Masters of Counseling degree from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration, with a major in Health & Human Services from the University of Arizona. She also works as an Adjunct Instructor for Ottawa University.
Occupational Therapy Services performed by a State of Arizona Licensed Occupational Therapist, Carrie Fancher, MS, OTR/L. Carrie obtained her MS degree from AT Still University. She has been part of our team since March of 2008.
